Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a great value for money, offering spacious rooms that are perfect for a quiet stay. The fantastic food and friendly service make it highly recommended. However, some noise from the kitchen can be heard until late.
The hotel is in an ideal location at the top of Robin Hood's Bay, perfect for exploring both the North Yorkshire Moors and the coastal towns and villages. The rooms were clean and fresh, but the noise from the public bar until midnight was a downside. The service, provided by friendly local staff, required walking through a busy bar for check-in. The dining experience was enjoyable with a good selection, although the staff seemed a bit forgetful like Fawlty Towers at times. The location is a solid 9 out of 10 for both its convenience and the quality of food served at reasonable prices.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating, although checking in through the busy bar was a bit of a hassle. The location was great for exploring the East Coast, despite some uphill walks back to the hotel. The dining experience was decent with a good selection, and overall, it was a good value for money.
